Privacy policy
Last updated : 19 September 2026
In one sentence
Blue Mantiq LLC · [email protected]. This policy covers the Darija Pro app and this website. The short version: no accounts, no ads, no selling of data. Ever.
No accounts
The app requires no registration and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Your content stays yours
Your searches, your list, your review cards, your history and your preferences are stored on your phone. They leave it only when a feature strictly requires it. When a feature sends content to a service provider (a sentence to translate, a Coach line, a short recording for “Say it”), it sends only that content, only to answer that request. We run no server and we keep nothing.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. To verify access to Pro we use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which validates Apple's receipt using an anonymous installation identifier. Never your name or email.
Usage analytics
The app measures its own usage with PostHog (PostHog, Inc.), hosted in the United States. Events are tied to a random installation identifier, pseudonymous, never linked to your identity, and describe feature usage (a screen was opened, a search was made), never the content you typed. Using the app constitutes acceptance of these measurements. This data is never sold. This website measures its visits the same way, without cookies.
What we never do
No third-party advertising. No sale or sharing of data with data brokers. No tracking across other companies' apps or websites. No access to your contacts or photos. The microphone is used only when you press the microphone button, never in the background.
If you write to us, directly or through a “Report” button that pre-fills a message in your own mail app, we keep the exchange for as long as it takes to fix the issue and reply.
Your rights
Because the app holds no account and no identity, deleting the app deletes your local data. Analytics events are pseudonymous and cannot be traced back to a person, which is why we cannot extract them for an individual. For any question, objection or request under GDPR or similar laws: [email protected].
Changes
When this policy changes, this page and the date above change with it. A change that would broaden collection is announced in the app first.
